As many of you know I am terrified of dolls. Not stuffed animals, just dolls. Anything with a human form scares me. I won’t go into when it all started as I have already posted about that. You can read it here: “Haunted Dolls Paranormal or Just Plain Creepy?”

Recently I have been having this feeling that I need a haunted doll! WHAT??! You heard me! Shhhh!…Sorry, the voices in my head are arguing.

Anyway, I can’t explain why I feel this way, but all of the sudden finding a haunted doll is really important to me. Something I need to do. And not just any haunted doll, but MY haunted doll.

Am I nuts? Quite possibly. Does my husband approve? Yeah, but only because he doesn’t believe in haunted dolls.

So I was determined to go out and find my haunted doll. I was sure that haunted dolls where probably pretty rare and it would take me a long time to find one.

During my search I crossed paths with some really interesting sites. I also did a lot of looking on eBay as there is a pretty large haunted doll community there. (I know right? Weird but true!) On my eBay adventure I found some very creepy, some sad, some evil, and some fake haunted dolls. Here is what I found, in no particular order.

First I would like to start with a website I came across. This site is really pretty neat. She adopts haunted dolls and studies them for any paranormal activity. She provides adoption services as well. The site is HauntedDolls.net and it deserves a look see!

Next I found a post on a paranormal research site about haunted dolls. I was sure this would be a joke post as I had run into a ton of them, but it was actually a really good read. You can find it at Atlantic Paranormal Society.

Of course no Haunted Doll post would be complete without a scary story! Is it true? Who knows, but it’s a good creepy read! This is the story of Annabelle. Annabelle is a haunted Raggedy Ann doll who made it’s dark side known to it’s owners in the 1970’s. Apparently it is a very famous case that the Warrens worked on.  Find it at Dark-Stories.com.

Okay, now I would like to give you a few examples of some of the dolls on eBay. I would have never thought that there were so many. I wasn’t surprised that you could find them there. It’s eBay! You could go buy a used sock once worn by Michael Jackson there! (J/K but I wouldn’t be surprised if you actually found that! LOL)

Lets start out with a bang! My friend Courtney from Haunt Jaunts found this and sent the link to me. Not sure if she was trying to scare me or warn me! LOL As scared as I am of Dolls, I am even more frightened of clowns! So a Demonic, Haunted, Clown Doll would NEVER find a home with me! What about you? Would you by a negative haunted item? Charles The Evil Haunted Clown Doll

This next one made me laugh. It isn’t meant to be funny but, well, let me tell you about the doll, go read the description and you will see why I find this one funny. Haunted Soulmate Warlock Doll is haunted by the spirit of a male witch. He falls in love with any woman who owns the doll. Things get a little creepy and Paranormal Romantic from there! (Especially since the doll is female.)LOL.

Next I want to give you an example of a fake. In my opinion of course. Is the doll its self fake? I don’t know, but there are some fake (again, my opinion) paranormal photos in the description. This makes me leery about believing the seller about the doll. Rebecca From Ghost Island. If you look at the photo’s you will see some “mist” photo’s. The reason this looks fake to me is because in some of them it looks as if the person taking the picture was trying to make sure the “mist” was in the picture, even if that meant that the doll was barely in the frame. Most if not all of the time, the picture is taken and the mist is seen only after it’s developed. This same seller has another doll up with some of the same “mist’ photo’s. This is why I am a bit suspect of the doll.

I feel this post is becoming to long now. My rambling has gotten the better of me. AGAIN. I will put some links to other dolls I found that I thought interesting enough to post about at the end of this post. You can view them at your own leisure and see what you think. Please leave a comment about your thoughts. I would LOVE to hear about them!

So I know you are wondering if I found my doll. I did! I saw her and I KNEW that she was the doll I needed to buy. I can’t explain it, but I just had to buy her. I did check the sellers other doll that she had listed and the description was something like, “I just got this doll. I think she is haunted and I’m not sure about her disposition. I don’t know anything about her except that I received her from a wiccan community. If you bid be aware that I know nothing about this doll.”

Now, because there wasn’t a long story. A pitch so to speak, it makes me believe her more. If she was selling fakes she would have made up a more interesting story to try and sell them.

Anyway, my doll’s name is Susan. She should be here sometime next week. I am looking forward to introducing her to you next weekend when I finally get the live ghost cam up and running.

Here are the links to some interesting dolls that I didn’t have room to post about. Some are laughable, some are heart breaking, and some are amazing.

I am making sure to only buy items with positive energy. If I get a doll that gives me the bad vibe I will trash it asap!

    Thanks for the comment sweets!

OK. So you KNOW I had to go look at all the links. APS wrote an excellent article, by the way. There are plenty of dolls to choose from; and again, just be cautious. I’ve been given dolls, passed on dolls, and nearly ran away from dolls (amongst other things!); due to the energy and/or entities that surround them. Have fun and good luck!

Dolls are the paranormal topic of the week. Courtney and I have both blogged about haunted dolls this week. What is it about these little guys that makes them so much more creepy than any other haunted item! Good luck with your haunted doll. You are much more brave than me.

It seems haunted dolls is the topic of the week. I haven’t gone in depth on this subject, but Robert the doll is still one that creeps me out. Don’t really like dolls who move on their own. Gives me Chucky nightmares. :)
